The Sling is the last revolt against the royalty (1648); the Parliament and the people of Paris, pulled by the nobility, rise against the government of Mazarin (1648), but they realize soon of their fault and make peace.
The lords continue the war with the assistance of Spain and Cop, who wants the capacity, but after five years of disorder, they are reduced, and Mazarin becomes more powerful than ever (1653).
The royalty is absolute.
Pacified France takes again with strength the war against Spain; Turenne is victorious close to Arras (1654) and to Dunkirk (1658), and Spain signs the peace of the Pyrenees, which gives to France Artois and Roussillon (1659), Spain is lowered like Austria.
